Hi there 👋
Today we’re making things simpler for organizations using Popwork across several teams by introducing a new Admin role.
More and more organizations are using Popwork for hundreds of team members making the addition of an admin role a necessity! Over the coming weeks, admins will gain access to the tools they need to properly manage their account: user management, in-app billing and global engagement metrics.
To start with, we’ve added admin access to global engagement metrics.
Admins can now access global engagement metrics for their organization. All the info shared between managers and team members in Popwork stays absolutely confidential - this will never change. What's new is that admins can now access aggregated values for mood and workload at their organization level.
To access these insights, admins need to go to Dashboard and select the My organization level in the top right drop-down menu.
We will continue to add new features to the Admin role to give them all the tools they need to manage their Popwork account smoothly. Next in line are our user management interface and in-app access to your Popwork subscription and invoices.

Hey folks - we’re on a roll!
We’ve added a few more bricks to your insights Dashboard ⚡
Zoom in on team member mood & workload insights 🔬
You can now access individual team member insights by clicking on any profile in the My team members recap table. This will open a side panel where you will find:
With these insights, you should be able to understand the mood dynamics of each person on your team.
To access these individual insights, go to your Dashboard > scroll down to My team members table > click on any of your team members.
Get a consolidated view on all your teams 🚁
If you manage several teams on Popwork, you can now benefit from a consolidated view of your insights. Indeed, you can select the My teams view to view insights across all your teams or choose to select any specific team to focus on its members only.
The available insights are the same. Whether you are on the My teams view or focusing on a single team, you will see:

To switch views, simply use the switch button at the top of your Dashboard page.

We've just added new insights to the Popwork manager dashboard!
Workload evolution over the past 3 months 🏋️
First, we've added the chart of your team's workload over the past three months. This will enable you to instantly gauge how your team has been feeling on this topic.
To see the Workload satisfaction chart, simply go to your team's Dashboard.
Most selected mood answers 🌈
On top of this, we've added a chart of the most selected mood answers. This enables managers to easily visualize which words have been chosen by their teams over the last 3 months to define their current mood.
Wether positive or negative, this gives managers the insight they need to understand qualitatively how their team members are really feeling. Managers don't need to take the same actions when their teams are stressed, frustrated or disappointed and this is why we've made it easy to see.

Hi guys,
We’ve just added an important new feature to Popwork: managers now have access to new insights on their teams’ mood and workload in the new Insights dashboard! 🔮
Mood evolution over the last 3 months 📊
In order to give managers a more dynamic and comprehensive view of their teams’ mood, we’re showing new insights on Popwork with the addition of graphs on the team's current mood and evolution over the last 3 months. With these new insights, we’re aiming to give managers an instant understanding of their team dynamics.

Team members insights table 🔍
We’ve also added a new team members insights table to help managers identify individual dynamics in the blink of an eye. This chart will enable managers to easily make correlations between team and individual indicators.

To access these new insights, simply go to your team Dashboard.
We’ll continue to build on this insights page to give managers all the tools they need to understand their teams and take action when necessary. Look forward to new insights on this page soon :)
Please note that these new insights replace the previous Mood barometer and Workload gauge for which we are building new versions. Stay tuned!

Managers can now create new teams on Popwork, for themselves or for their team members.
Creating a new team for oneself 🪄
Some managers lead teams made of different roles and may want to split their team in several teams in Popwork.
Each team can have their own check-in and dashboard.
To create a new team, go to Settings > Teams and click on Create Team. Name the team and assign yourself as the manager. Voila.
Creating a team for a team member 🔮
Managers also manage managers. To make it easier to use Popwork in this situation, managers can now create a team for any of their team members. The team member for whom a team has been created is notified by email and can then onboard their own team on Popwork.
To create a new team, go to Settings > Teams and click on Create Team. Name it and then choose the person for whom you 're creating the team. That's it.

Hi guys,
Really happy to launch a major new feature on Popwork today: managers can now customize the check-in questions for their teams! 🧑🎨
Adapting the Popwork template ⚙️
If you feel the Popwork template is the right one for your team but simply want to rephrase the way questions are asked to make them more personal or suited to your team, this is now possible.
To do so, go into Settings > Rituals and select the “1:1 check-in” ritual. You can now click on any question - except the mood and workload questions - to edit the way the question is asked.
Make your changes, save them, check what the resulting check-in looks like and you’re done. The next check-ins for your team will be your own custom version.

Adding and deleting questions 🙋
It’s possible to go further into the customization of check-ins for your team and to choose to add and delete questions. The only questions that cannot be removed are the mood questions. This is because we believe no check-in or 1:1 conversation can be successful without these.
To add questions to your check-in template, simply go to Settings > Rituals and select the “1:1 check-in” ritual. To write a new question, click on the “Add question” button and write your question.

In the Advanced options, you have the possibility to add a placeholder text if you want the answer text field to be pre-populated with content.
Furthermore, you also have the option to apply a "once a month" frequency to questions. These questions will only be asked in the first week of the month. Note that if the check-in of the first week of the month is missed, this once-a-month question will be asked again in the following check-ins until answered.
Finally, if you wish to delete a question, simply click on the question and then on the Delete button.

Hi there 👋
Glad to share we released something new on Popwork today: check-ins can now be scheduled with a monthly frequency 📆
Choosing the monthly frequency
If you feel that you only want to have monthly 1:1 conversations with one of your team members, it is now possible with Popwork.
To do so, go into Parameters > Team members and select said team member. You can now use the drop down menu to choose the monthly frequency.
Note that you are also able to choose the week of the month you want to set the check-ins for.

Managers can now visualize which questions are going to be asked in the upcoming check-in for each of their team members. Always useful when you use custom questions or have monthly mood or objectives updates coming up!
To visualize an upcoming ritual on Popwork, go to your team member’s workspace and uncollapse the
upcoming ritual card by clicking on the arrow symbol. You will be able to see each of the questions of the given check-in.

Managers can also prepare the upcoming 1-to-1 meeting by adding topics they want to discuss in the Manager’s topics card or add action items in the Next steps card.

In real life, one-to-one meetings are often moved by a day or two because one is out of office, or the other has a super important client meeting, and that’s ok.
This is why we are introducing an important change to make answering check-ins much more flexible. It’s now possible to complete a check-in ahead of time or after its due date.
This being said, we are keeping the “check-in window” and reminders which help ritualize one-to-one meetings. However, the ability to answer check-ins ahead of time or late makes the Popwork frictionless and better fitted into your flow of work.
How to answer a missed check-in?
To complete a missed check-in, team members simply have to click on Complete late on the corresponding check-in card.

How to answer a check-in in advance?
To start answering the next check-in in advance, team members will need to click on Prepare on the upcoming check-in card. Check-in answers are automatically saved as a draft after each step and it is even possible to share the check-in in advance.
