Popwork's changelog

We have redesigned the Popwork feedback cards for more clarity and readability.

The new cards now feature colored labels at the top right corner and a reduced font size.

When receiving feedback, you can react with our new emoji picker or by commenting.

It's now easier to add quick reactions to feedback you receive thanks to our new emoji picker.

The new emoji picker is easier to use on desktop and mobile, contains all emojis and you are now able to add multiple emoji reactions for each feedback.

We have release a new improvement that will streamline the way you request feedback!

When asking for feedback, you can now choose from a range of templates to tailor your request to specific topics, such as:

• General feedback 📝
• Areas of strengths 💪
• Areas of improvement 🎯
• Management feedback 🧑‍💼

These templates make it easier to guide the feedback you receive and ensure you’re getting the insights you need. Of course, you can still ask your own custom questions when necessary!

Other improvements:

• Team members are now also invited to request feedback to their manager after sharing their answers in preparation of a 1:1 meeting

You can now view all unread comments directly from each individual workspace.

This ensures you never miss important comments, making it easier to stay on top of your ongoing discussions!

To access unread comments, simply select a workspace and click the comment icon at the top right of the screen, next to private notes.

Other improvements:

• Improved the format of feedback and comment notifications in Slack, which now include a preview of the message sent
• Changed the wording of the call to action to share improvement feedback for "Suggest an improvement" instead of "Help to progress"

You now have access to more detailed insights, including:

• A breakdown of the types of feedback shared by your teams, whether they are praise, encouragement, or improvement feedback.
• Trends in the number of feedbacks exchanged and 1:1 meetings held between managers and team members, ensuring they happen regularly.

These new data points provide a clearer, more precise overview of how engaged your teams are with feedback and regular conversations, helping you foster a continuous feedback culture across the organization.

Other improvements:

• Admin can now search users instead of having to scroll down when editing the manager of one of their employees
• Managers can now access the workspace of their team members from their team home, by clicking on their name

How does it work?

It's simple! Just hover over the feedback you'd like to respond to, and choose between adding a comment or reacting.

The feedback sender will be notified of your comment or reaction, making it easy to maintain meaningful conversations around the feedback you receive.

This feature enables richer, more interactive exchanges, helping you to engage in productive dialogue and build stronger connections with your team.

• We have also improved the left menu to make the navigation easier
• You can now read the feedback when opening the notification from your team home

For several months now it is possible for managers to share feedback with their team members and for team members to ask for feedback from their manager.

From now on, everyone can share feedback with anyone within the organization!

This is useful to thank someone for their help, congratulate another for a great achievement or share more thorough feedback with one of your peers.

How it works?

From the left-hand menu, the homepage or the Feedback page, select the share or request feedback option and select the recipient of your choice from all the people in your organization.

Write and share your feedback. The recipient will be notified and will be able to view your message on Popwork.

Every first Thursday of the month, Popwork admins receive a summary of their company's key indicators by email.

In addition to key figures on employee engagement and workload, we've now added a new indicator to track your the volume of feedbacks shared in your company.

Clicking on this email report, admins can then deep dive further using company dashboards. Also, stay tune as more updates are coming soon on these dashboards!
