Florian avatar
Shared by Florian • July 01, 2024

Doubling down on Popwork's objective to help managers share regular feedback with their team members, managers now receive an email (or Slack) reminder to share feedback.

This reminder lists team members with whom the manager has not shared feedback over the past 30 days and enables managers to share feedback in one click.

To begin with, this reminder is sent on Thursday on a biweekly basis. Please let us know if it helps and what frequency would suit you best!

Week 25 - Track the adoption of feedback culture internally đź“Š

Florian avatar
Shared by Florian • June 14, 2024

After the recent launch of a new instant feedback feature, we’re glad to release a simple dashboard to help HR track the adoption of feedback culture internally!

HR are now able to track easily how many feedback managers actually share with their teams. Concretely the table reports the number of feedback sessions completed by managers and the number of feedbacks shared via Popwork.

This is the first step in our broader ambition to grow Popwork as a platform to deploy a continuous feedback culture within companies. Stay tuned for further updates in the coming weeks!

To consult these insights, simply go to Company > Indicators.

Other improvements:

  • Renamed the feedback box below 1:1 answers as a general comment area to avoid confusion with the new instant feedback feature
  • Simplified the team menu to help the manager focus more on team members, 1:1s and feedbacks

Objectives

Week 15 - Track objectives progress with key results 🎯

Florian avatar
Shared by Florian • April 11, 2024

You can now add key results to objectives and track progress in a more quantitative manner. Key results are used to define the measurement of the success of an objective and help teams with OKRs to track progress more efficiently.

The status update workflow by team members remains the same, but now includes a progress update on key results. Team members are invited, at the frequency defined by the manager, to reflect on the overall status of the objective and the progress of key results.

Key results are optional and can be added at any time on an objective, simply go to the Objectives tab > Add an objective > Add a key result. From there you will be able to define the key result and add a success metric in percentage or absolute value.

Other improvements:

  • Fixed wording inconsistencies in the drawer showing individual indicators
  • Removed users with no managers from dashboard alerts
  • Fixed an inconsistency in the count of people with a selected perimeter
  • Show action items assigned to self only “My action items” section

Week 14 - Answer rituals in succession and improved company settings ⚡️

Florian avatar
Shared by Florian • April 03, 2024

1) Suggest team members to answers upcoming rituals in succession

When a team member shares their answers in preparation of an upcoming 1:1 meeting, it’s a great opportunity to also take a few minutes to update their objectives.

If they have upcoming rituals to complete, team members are now invited to complete them in succession.

2) Improved company settings

We have reworked the layout of management ritual settings to make it easier for Admins to understand how the Popwork rituals work and edit rituals questions or frequency.

Admins can now find an explanatory video and text for each ritual, making it easy to visualize the employee and manager experience on Popwork.

3) Other improvements

We improved how our rituals' monthly frequency works. We now make sure that rituals repeat on the right week as defined by the manager when setting it up.

In practice, the week number is what defines when the ritual will repeat.

For example, if the manager sets the ritual for the second Tuesday of the month, it will always happen on the second Tuesday of the month.

Another example: if the manager chooses to set the ritual for the last Thursday of the month, the ritual will always repeat on the last Thursday regardless if the month has 4 or 5 weeks.

Shared by Florian • April 03, 2024

We just shipped several improvements to make the dashboard easier to access, use and understand.

Managers and Admins can now visualize the indicators across their teams or the whole company from the same dashboard, using the shortcuts My teams or All teams.

We also made it easier to navigate within the org chart and to access the 3 tabs of the dashboard (engagement, management and performance indicators).

Finally, we also made the visual difference between Teams and Individuals easier to see to help analyse the dashboard metrics more intuitively.

Other improvements:

  • Fixed a bug on the display of individual indicators from the dashboard not loading
  • Fixed a bug on the display of management practices charts not loading
  • Improved the responsiveness of workspaces menu on mobile
  • Fixed an issue preventing objectives to be viewed without refreshing the page when added from the workspace
  • In Users & roles settings, made the user for which an action is required clearer
