We have just released a new version of the team recap for managers.

It’s a simple table that helps managers visually identify the key pulse metrics of their team members: how they are doing in terms of mood and workload.

The RAG (Red, Amber, Green) indicators enable managers to see in a glimpse any alerts that might need further digging.

From there, managers can zoom in on historical evolution and access raw historical answers.

You can now select between 3, 6 and 12 months time period in your dashboard.

This helps managers and admins better understand mood and workload trends over a longer period of time.

More graphs and indicators will be added soon to the dashboard - stay tuned!

Other improvements:

• Buttons in Slack notifications now open the right workspace
• The call to action to invite users to connect their tools with Popwork is not shown anymore if the user connected all the available integrations
• A due date is now added by default when creating an objective
• Objectives are now sorted the same way across all different views
• Made small design improvements across the app
• Fixed a small bug affecting the display of the frequency of the mood question
• Fixed a bug preventing managers to edit questions when activating a ritual

The Popwork team 🤟

We’ve just made workload much easier to measure on Popwork! The workload question is now based on a simple 5-step scale.

It makes it easier for team members to share their current workload by choosing among five answers:

• Not enough work 🥱
• I can do more 👍
• All good 👌
• I have a lot to do 🔥
• Too much work 🥵

Managers can more easily monitor the workload of their team members and spot workload issues. A new workload chart is available in their dashboard with a more actionable breakdown:

• Too much work
• Good workload
• Low workload

This way, admin and managers have a clear view of the actual workload for their organization or teams, and can take appropriate actions.

Other improvements:

• Comments now appear below action items
• Each ritual now have a different background color to help user differentiate them
• Access to objectives is now fully mobile responsive
• A number of improvements have been made to the onboarding on mobile
• Small fine tuning were made to the new ritual answer interface

We doubled down on the objectives module following a first upgrade at the end of July to make objectives easier to track!

1) New objectives indicators

Admin and managers now have indicators in their dashboard to quickly (i) see how many team members have objectives, and (ii) what is the status of objectives in their organization or team

2) Simplified workflow to archive objectives

An objective can now be archived in one click. You will be able to record the level of attainment on a goal attainment scale. Archived objectives can be accessed in the “Archived objectives” tab.

3) Comments on objectives

Comments are now available on objectives status updates to help users follow up directly in Popwork.

We have released a series of improvements to help team members better leverage Popwork data when answering questions.

Team members can now access their action items, which is particularly useful when answering the achievements, priorities or challenges questions.

More broadly, team members can now access all their past answers in the side panel accessible in a single click.

We have also the design of the progress bar and show tips more clearly below each question.

Other improvements:

• Clicking on Popwork logo now redirects team members to their workspace
• Several responsive improvements have been made to buttons and labels

Since June 2023, you can connect Popwork with your Google Calendar and add recurring Popwork rituals into your calendar.

We have now fully synchronized Popwork and Google Calendar : Moving Popwork events in your Google Calendar is reflected in Popwork and invitations and reminders to answer questions will be sent at the right time.

For instance, if you move your next 1:1 meeting from Thursday 10:00am to Monday at 09.30am, Popwork will invite your team member to prepare the meeting on Friday, not Wednesday.

Popwork has successfully completed Cybervadis third-party risk assessment in August 2023.

Popwork was rated Silver with a score of 900/1,000 which demonstrates a “mature” cybersecurity level.

This cybersecurity credential also validates the strength of our security strategy and represents an additional proof of how our Management and Information Security Systems meets the highest standards in terms of cybersecurity and data protection.

Customers can now leverage Popwork CyberVadis report and scorecard to reduce their supplier due-diligence burden.

We have made a series of improvements to help users access upcoming rituals.

Due rituals are now clearly highlighted in a blue box at the top of your workspace.

If you want to visualize upcoming rituals for the coming weeks, you can load them by clicking the “Upcoming rituals” button at the top of your workspace.

Other improvements:

• Next meeting dates can now be moved to today in ritual settings
• Ritual titles are now clickable to ease access to ritual settings
• Fixed a bug regarding “new answers” notification in the left menu
• Fixed a bug which was placing ritual on Saturdays or Sundays

As a manager, sharing feedback on your team members’ answers is crucial.

Therefore, we have made feedback simpler and quicker for managers on Popwork. We have also restored the possibility to add talking points ahead of conversation for managers.

We have also enabled Android compatibility on this feature. Popwork is now fully mobile optimized for iOS and Android devices.

Other improvements:

• Added the possibility to delete a feedback
• Feedback or talking points can now be added to a ritual by the manager even before answers are received
• Comments and quick reactions now appear below answers

We've just improved the Objectives module on Popwork to give you more flexibility and make objectives tracking easier!

Say goodbye to objectives that are defined at the beginning of the period and then forgotten! With this new stand-alone ritual to reflect on objectives’ status, teams increase significantly their chances of achieving them.

It’s super simple to get started:

1. Define clear objectives for each team member
2. Set the status update frequency (quarterly, monthly, weekly, …)
3. Plan the first review date soon
4. Discuss and monitor the progress made (achieved, on track, behind, at risk, …) and repeat!

Other improvements:

• Reworked how the rituals are ordered and displayed to make it simpler for team member and manager find which ritual should be completed or reviewed
• Fixed an issue when adding a team member and syncing it immediately with Google Calendar
• Improved how ritual reminders work and now vary upon the ritual’s frequency (eg. on a ‘quarterly’ frequency team members will be reminded two weeks before whereas on a ‘weekly’ frequency this will be only one day before)
